Terms of Service

1. The service

AccessLedger is an Atlassian Forge app. It runs inside your own Atlassian Cloud site, resolves effective permissions across Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud, runs certification rounds in which the reviewers you nominate approve, revoke, or record an exception against their own scoped list, and seals the result as a timestamped evidence record you can export. This website is the product’s information page and takes no payment and no product data. The description and scope shown on accessledger.forage.bot, and the price and terms of the plan you take out through the marketplace that distributes AccessLedger (currently per seat, billed by Atlassian on your existing Atlassian invoice, unless otherwise stated), apply to your subscription at the time you start it.

Features, scope, technical methods, and pricing may change over time, but later changes will not retroactively alter an order already placed unless we clearly tell you otherwise.

2. Eligibility and business use

You must be at least 18 years old to use AccessLedger. The product is intended for business and professional use. If you purchase on behalf of a company, client, agency, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

3. Access, delivery, and timing

The plan you take out through the marketplace that distributes AccessLedger sets your access to it, including any recurring charges, free trials, included add-ons, and cancellation rights. Those terms are the ones that marketplace shows you, and they apply to your subscription. Any delivery windows, turnaround times, or similar estimates shown on the site or in email are targets only, not guaranteed deadlines.

AccessLedger is delivered through that marketplace: once your subscription is active there, the product is available to you in the environment it installs into. You are responsible for keeping that subscription in good standing with the marketplace.

Recurring billing and cancellation are handled by that marketplace, under the terms it shows you. Cancellation governs your access to future billing cycles. Refund treatment is described in section 5.

4. Fees, payment, and taxes

AccessLedger takes no payment on accessledger.forage.bot. This site has no checkout and does not ask for or process payment information. The product is distributed and billed through a third-party marketplace, which is the merchant of record for your subscription and handles billing, cancellation, taxes, and refunds under the terms that apply to your subscription there. We do not charge you directly.

5. Refunds

Because we do not charge you, we cannot issue a refund ourselves. Outside the conditions above and any non-waivable rights under applicable law, refunds are decided by the marketplace that billed you, under its own terms.

6. Information you submit; authority and permissions

The information you submit to us must be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping any contact email you give us current so we can reply to you and send important notices.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and authority needed to submit the URLs, brand names, prompts, text, or other materials you provide to us, and to instruct Jobbot Inc and its service providers to process them to deliver the product. If you submit materials on behalf of a client or third party, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

7. Prohibited submissions and acceptable use

AccessLedger is designed for public-facing websites, business information, and ordinary business contact details. You agree not to:

• submit social security numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account credentials, or similar highly sensitive personal data;
• submit health information, biometric data, precise location data, children's personal data, or other regulated sensitive data;
• submit trade secrets, confidential third-party information, or unpublished internal materials unless you are fully authorized and accept processing by our providers as described in the privacy policy;
• use AccessLedgerto violate the law, infringe another party's rights, or breach any duty of confidentiality;
• ask us to access password-protected systems, bypass technical controls, conduct penetration testing, or perform intrusive security testing;
• interfere with, probe, scrape, automate access to, or impose unreasonable load on AccessLedger or related infrastructure; or
• resell, white-label, or repackage the service itself as your own standalone commercial product without our written permission.

Product-specific limits

AccessLedger reports what your Atlassian site’s permission configuration resolves to at the moment it reads it, and records the decisions your reviewers make. It does not change permissions; any access a reviewer decides to remove is removed by you in Jira or Confluence.

The evidence record describes a review that your own people carried out. It is not an audit, an audit opinion, an assessment, or a certification, and we are not auditors. Nothing the app produces makes an organisation compliant with SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, or any other framework — that determination belongs to your auditor and rests on far more than access reviews.

The first version covers Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud only. It does not cover Atlassian Data Center or Server, other Atlassian products, or systems outside Atlassian, and it does not integrate with an identity provider.

8. How output is produced

AccessLedger does not use a language model or any other generative AI to produce your output, and we do not send what you submit to a model provider. Results are produced by ordinary software logic, product-specific rules, and the data sources described by the service.

We may change, add, or remove rules, data sources, and technical methods over time in our discretion. Results describe what the service processed or observed at the time it ran; they are not a warranty about anything the service did not examine.

9. Your content; our limited license

As between you and us, you retain whatever rights you have in the content you submit. You grant Jobbot Inc a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, analyze, modify, and otherwise use that content solely as needed to provide the product, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve the operation of the service using aggregate or de-identified learnings.

10. Output and permitted use

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the report and other output we deliver to you for your internal business purposes. This license does not transfer ownership of the service, site, software, prompts, workflows, templates, branding, or underlying methods.

11. Third-party services

AccessLedger relies on third-party services such as Vercel, Resend, Migadu, and GitHub. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for outages, errors, filtering, delays, or other acts or omissions of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

12. Disclaimers

The product is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted service.

References to an "audit," "readiness," "recommendation," "score," or similar labels mean an informational software output only. They do not mean certification, legal compliance, regulatory approval, expert assurance, or a guarantee that your site will be cited, ranked, indexed, perform better, or achieve any business result.

You are solely responsible for reviewing the output, verifying any facts or recommendations, deciding how to act on it, and obtaining any legal, tax, security, compliance, marketing, or other professional advice you need. AccessLedger is not a substitute for professional judgment.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobbot Inc and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, data, goodwill, or use, arising out of or related to these terms or your use of AccessLedger, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or AccessLedger will not exceed the amount paid for your AccessLedger subscription in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Jobbot Incharmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your submitted content, your violation of these terms, your misuse of AccessLedger, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to AccessLedger at any time, with or without notice, including for breach of these terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal risk, provider restrictions, or conduct that may harm the service or others. You may stop using AccessLedger at any time.

Sections intended to survive termination — including ownership, submitted content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute provisions — will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or AccessLedger that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice — for example, by posting the change on accessledger.forage.bot or emailing you at the address on file. Your continued use of AccessLedger after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
